Yokai is a premium whiskey experience from Mugen Spirit curated by co-founder Kojin Tashiro, weaving Japanese mythology and lore into carefully selected bourbon barrels. Yokai are a lineage of mythological creatures, tricksters, and warriors. Each expression depicts a different Yokai.

The Yokai series kicks off with an extraordinary single barrel whiskey honoring the legendary Tengu, spiritual warriors of the forest who are symbols of knowledge, power, and sophistication.

• Age: Aged more than 9 years
• Proof: 141.6 proof, Hazmat
• Flavor notes:
  • Nose: dark fruit, luxardo cherry, a bit of tobacco, cinnamon candy
  • Palate: plum and cherry immediately with a sweet oak and baking spices follow slowly but surely after. Velvety mouth feel reminds you of glazed fruit pie in the cold season
